After I did this last drawing, I realized that I had slipped into NFT art. From what I have gleaned, variation on a theme is the hottest trend. If you need NFT art, contact me at comicartbygonzalez.com

This is a drawing I did for my brother. A picture of him and his two dogs. My brother Joey is the one in the backseat with his head out the window. Pet Caricature.

When my Huion drawing tablet went on the fritz, I was saying, “Phooey on Huion!” I would like to take that back. I got it working again! The resulting Small Consolation that you see above was just me messing around with different line thicknesses and colors. A test, you might say. If you think it is funny… great! It wasn’t meant to be funny, though. It just happened. Art just happens, sometimes. I think it has a certain Anime flavor. Or is it Manga? Is Anime the moving version of Manga? That might be an interesting question. Happy Thanksgiving!

These are my friend’s sister’s and dad’s dogs. Would you like me to illustrate your beloved pet? Contact me at oddboxcomics@att.net. I am currently working on building a website. To go see what I have done so far, go to https://comicartbygonzalez.com/
You never really know if you can actually do something that you believe to be impossible until you try. I had my doubts that I could paint a cool-looking torch. I dreamt big and gave it a try. I am quite happy with how I rendered it. Especially how I captured the color of the shiny, golden torch. This was made with ink and watercolor paint.

This was the cover to a report I did on the Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch. You know, the guy who paints people with fish heads. I’m not saying that he used fish heads to make his paintings. For example, he didn’t use a fish head as a brush. What I am trying to say is he paints pictures of fish-headed people. Circa 1999. This drawing was circa 1999 but the Hieronymus paintings were circa 1500.
