Pencil and watercolor, caricature from a photo. 1998?
Pencil, black ink marker, and watercolor.
I finally resolved to get messy with watercolor. This is pencil, black marker, and watercolor on paper. It is a picture of perhaps a cat/fox hybrid. I always initially hesitate to paint in watercolor because of my basic laziness, but once I actually go to the trouble of doing it, I am never disappointed!
Some animation to show that the Variety Frog Pad has six different designs. I plan to put this in my Frog Pad page. Please visit now. Under “Pages” to the right, click “Frog Pad”. Buy a Frog Pad or two. This is the first time I have used the “tween” feature. I like it! However, I couldn’t figure out how to use that effect in between the Pac-Man Frog and the Poison-dart Frog. Compared to the other smooth transitions, it seems to clunk from one to the other.
Caricatures of some of my colleagues at the old print shop. From left to right: Shannon, Matt, Dianne, and me!
Just messing around with watercolor paints. Hey…here is a fun activity for ya. Add your own caption. What is this fish saying to the golfer? Is he angry? Irritated and perturbed? Helpful and considerate? Or what? And just for funsies, I will pick the winning caption in one month. Let’s see how funny you are!
