The progression of color of the Flint River Collection design.
- I made a copy of the b+w version and then painted it with watercolor.
- Then, I cleaned it up a bit. Observe the rat’s tail and his tiny little rat-hands.
- Finally, after some further Photoshop color manipulation, the finished piece.
P.S……….I have closed my Patreon. I would like to thank everybody for your contributions. You are awesome! Double thanks to my best buddy, Dave Pray!
This is the finished Flint River Collection B+W design. We can’t use Flint River Outfitters because that is a real store in Georgia. Apparently, they too, have a Flint River.
I made, and used, my own type style within this design. I call it “Bob sans serif”.
Very soon, this design will be made available on T-shirts, mugs, calendars, and whatever else CafePress offers. Order now to avoid the rush!
The creative genius who made the above animation is none other than, yep, you guessed it, Bunk Strutts of Tacky Raccoons.
Bunk is no stranger to Oddbox Comics. His website, Tacky Raccoons is a featured site in my Blogroll. He also made, “Oddbox Roulette”.
There are five differences between this sketch and the sketch in my last post. See if you can spot the differences. Send me your answers and you will have good luck next week!
First draft pencil sketch. I have a picture in my brain but I just need to figure out a way to put it on paper. I will do another sketch.
